Meet Colin Bender

Colin Bender, Company Director of Colin Bender Chartered Accountants, was born and raised in Auckland. He completed his education at Auckland University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree. After several years of working as a Chartered Accountant in Auckland, he moved to London, U.K. where he worked as a Contract Accountant for three years.

Upon returning to Auckland in late 2000, Colin purchased an existing North Shore City accountancy practice and Colin Bender Chartered Accountants was born. Over the years, our accountancy practice has grown rapidly since Colin took over as Company Director. In 2004, our home-based business moved to commercial premises to accommodate our growing number of clients. In 2013, we moved to an even larger commercial premises complete with more customer parking.

Colin is happily married and has one son. During his downtime, Colin enjoys soaking up the beautiful scenery in Auckland while road cycling and enjoys watching his son play football.
